[Konvas] Lomos in the dark

We shot the last 3 days in a very dark basement and my Lomo standard speeds were plenty fast. I was worried at first but it turned out the Canon 7D's great low light performance made it possible to shoot in there at T4 on the Lomos with no problems. We obviously still had to light but the ambient light, as minimal as it was, was already enough to at least get a decent exposure.
I like shooting at T4 as opposed to wide open for better sharpness and contrast. The Lomos look just beautiful at T4. Sharp and yet yielding a shallow enough DOF.
But as good as the 7D is in low light I can't help to think how much better the 5D would be in the dark. Really a pity the Lomos won't cover it. But I'm still thinking about getting one to use with Lomos 50mm and up when shooting night exteriors where space is generally not an issue and you could back up enough with a 50mm to grab a wider view. We will see.
