Glad your shots are coming out right. Would love to see a few frame grabs.

I'd rather shoot Academy frame or APS-C at f/4.0 (or f/5.6) than at 
f/2.0 any day. Super shallow DOF and Actors (and marks) don't mix. That 
said, I wouldn't worry about the 5D. It's bigger sensor would only buy 
you even more headache trying to get those actors to hit their marks.

Of course, you can pump more light in to deepen your DOF - but that's 
kind of like putting on a few extra socks so a bigger should would fit 
better, rather than just buying a shoe that fits properly to begin with.
