The pentacon glass is jut still glass right? So they would be plagged with the same shortcomings as any Nikon or Canon lens. I don't think the problem in using still lenses for motion pictures is with the quality of the glass as much as it is with the quality and design of the mechanics and overall integration with cine accessories.
By the way, the Pentacon lenses where mostly Zeiss right?

Whoops - I actually meant to mention that. Thought about it after I hit send and then got sidetracked (the story of my life).
BTW: Terry Byrne and were discussing the use of Pentacon Six lenses with OCT19 adapters. I toyed with my P6 lenses a little on my Konvas (via my OCT18 adapter) a while ago, but haven't used them for anything "pro" yet. Has anyone been using them on a set? How did you feel about their look in comparison to standard LOMO/Zeiss/Cooke/other cine lenses? Resolution/Contrast? Follow focus? Any other thoughts or complaints? Can they be used in a cine LOMO line-up?
