The 35C and 35H should have three plates and three ground glasses,  
although a single camera would have but one of them.

The A/R *code* is engraved on the plate and on the ground glass.

Academy is usually code H.

1.66 is another code.

Post-1958 CinemaScope/Anamorphic is a third code.

Full/pre-1958 CinemaScope/Super-35 could be a fourth code.
