[Konvas] New Canon? - Ergonomics anyone

Not really or not only. It's more down to the design. For some odd reason these lenses were produced in so many design variations that even among lenses of same model number they can have totally different designs or they may look the same but have different details or even different measures. I have lenses with the same model number but totally different designs and housings.

Is that because the rear element protrudes different amounts on individual lenses ?
