[Konvas] 7D lousy still images?

Actually an ongoing issue for Canon. The "best information" images off the 10D and 20D were "uncompressed jpg" files-- which were elminated in one of the software updates, and which Canon swore never really existed. If you take one of the early 10D bodies and shoot the largest of the jpg file formats and actually do a count it has a few more pixels than the raw file, and the colors are "cleaner" for some reason. This has continued on other models, but the Rebel processors and layout were different enough that they didn't get into the land of the strange-- it makes life interesting.

HERE'S A LITTLE AND SURPRISING ARTICLE ON THE 7D STILL IMAGE QUALITY AND WHY YOU
SHOULDN'T SHOOT ABOVE 5.6!? THERE IS A LINK FOR A CANON EXPLANATION. IT DOEN'T
MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT VIDEO. http://darwinwiggett.wordpress.com/2009/11/24/canon-7d-vs-the-canon-xsi/
