[Konvas] Picked up a 7D tonight...

I just helped shoot (second camera) a test short with a 7D and 5D yesterday. First time i've ever used an HDSLR. I hope to use one on my feature horror script we are working on. HD with my Lomo Lenses for dialog scenes, and 35mm film anamorphic with my Konvas M1 for the "money shot" murder sequences. It's really good quality, the Canon's, but the motion is clunky. I would never use a pan unless I was following something large in the frame. It's great for sit-and-talk scenes. I guess with the 5D the limit is 24mm is the most telephoto you can shoot without skew, yeesh.

Usually zoom lenses don't penetrate beyond the mount, like prime wide angle lenses, so a good chance this could work. The Foton on Ebay now shows it does not. I read on a forum that some people have pulled out the mirror and excess material to be able to fit deeply protruding PL lenses.
