I forgot to add, a quick test of a Lomo lens to see if it might work 
with an EOS camera is to set the lens focus to infinity and hold the 
lens in front of your Canon body. Now move the lens back and forward to 
see if you can get an infocus image of a distant subject. If you can and 
there is still a mm or two space between the back parts of the lens and 
the Canon lens mount then it would probably work
