[Konvas] french director murdered in El salvador ....

That is too bad.  He was in some rough places and as brutal as it
sounds, it might have just been a robbery.  I was in El Salvador 2 years
ago and just the street crime will get you killed.  Unfortunately, life
is cheap there.  While I was there an embassy worker got shot and killed
walking out of a nice restaurant when a kid held him up for his wallet.
He told the kid to get lost and the kid shot him in the femoral artery.
He jumped in a cab to the hospital and bled out / passed out before he
got there.  It's a dangerous place.  I'm sorry to hear this for this
director.
