30p vs 24p - not too big an issue. I haven't talked to a single person to date that has watched a projected movie or tv screen and said, "oh, this was definitely shot in 30p" or vice-versa.

My personal opinion is that 24p is most important to help in matching other 24p shot footage or when doing a film out...
