[Konvas] Panavision???

No "Morse" was originally made by central for the ITV network and obviously is now controlled by ITV plc who make the morse spin off which I can't remember the name of.

Not sure about the Elaine thing in the past but more recently they may have been using Arri's from pro-vision which was owned by itv plc and was based on the yorkshire tv campus. Given the current state of itv plc and the closure of the entire yorkshire campus I'm not sure what the current situation is for pro vision. I assume they are going too, although they had a manchester base as well so maybe they can survive somehow.

In any case I'm not sure how much of a future for film based production on television in the UK there is. The bbc making very strange declartions about film, such as "production on film has to stop" and allowing people to use 2 perf and 3 perf as long as they use slower stocks (presumably to make up for the loss of resolution from the cropped neg size!) and with ITV plc being on the brink of total collapse it doesn't look like there is much of a future for it here. Thats down to there being something of a question mark over the whole UK TV industry anyway mind you.

Kind of a bad idea to let all the itv companies take one another over really. When did they come up with that daft idea?

Ah yes the 80's....

I see a bit of a pattern emerging here. ;)

love

Freya
