"There was in fact an experimental run of Konvas 150m (500´) shoulder mags
(10 or 20 in total, I think) made in the early 90's"

I have seen similar mags to the Aaton "pussey cat" type made for the
Konvas probably 400 feet capacity.
I also saw some very unusual mags made for Arri 111 35mm again the cat on
shoulder style. This was some years ago and they were made of a 'Bakelite'
type plastic and had the P&S Techniks logo on them.

I contacted P&S at the time and they confirmed that they also made Arri's
mags in metal alloy and I think they could still be making the mags for
Arri today. I do know that they did make the lens barrels for Zeiss at one
time.

There were photos of both type of mags on the web but I cannot remember
exactly where, I think I found them by accident searching for German cine
camera's?

BTW. Have just seen some archive footage taken by German amateur cine
photographers 1939-1945 and the footage in truly breathtaking. This is
un-restored 16mm film and you see it as it was filmed with all the mistakes. The
camera that really 'knocks the wind out of you' is the Siemens 16mm with
Schneider glass similar to the Bolex but more boxy shape and with
interchangeable mags. I have found one in 'minty' condition in South Africa but he
wants $800.00 for it.
