I far prefer to use switching power supplies for this application.

These are available in 100-240 volt, 50/50 Hz on the ac side, and a
removable mains power cable which makes it world-wide adaptable ...
just buy a power cable locally and it will have the correct plug.

On the dc side, almost anything is possible.

I have a couple which are 19 volts, and these are perfect for a CP16
or CP16R.

Unfortunately, some Soviet cameras have specs for two voltages.

For example, the Kinor 35 7P is spec'd for 12 volts for any crystal
speed, but for wild speeds, up to 36 fps, 24 volts is required.

Placing two switchers in series is not for the faint of heart, and I
have no ready solution for that particular point, save diodes in
series with each supply and also shunting the output of that series
diode, so that a switcher, either switcher, may be removed for
crystal applications, yet both may be installed for wild applications.

Soviet motors have a duty cycle.

Unlike a Mitchell, which has a 100 percent duty cycle, the Soviet
cameras are usually much lower, perhaps 50 percent, meaning a 400
foot roll, about 4.5 minutes, followed by a cool-down period of at
least 4.5 minutes.
