HI, anybody have at disposition 35mm projection room and is interested in be
"oficial representant" for
"BLOW JOB" .....
we call our system "Blow JoB" joke , but the name stay and make impression
in festivals were we give flyers .........
for this moment we have representant in Mexico , Columbia , Cuba, Argentina
, and of course Ecuador .....
the idea is : seeing is the best way to be convincent ...so the "contact"
have to be DP at least and know wht he sale ....
WE ARE NOT ARRILAZER 4K ..... BUT results are very very goods ....
Now i know than independent filmakers have in USA the possibility each time
more and more of digital HD .... so maybe it is obsolete for USA
for this we cover market were 35mm is the only universal format to get
comercial theaters ...
i know it it for few more years but it still possible ....
Our prices are CHEAPER than DVFILMS , and quality is very good ....
i am now working in the DEMO REEL .... but we have done 8 features films yet
... next month i do other , even scope anamorphsed , and black and white
....
BESTS, OLIVIER .

Strange!
Can't wait to see your tests, Olivier.
Steve, isn't 16mm already dead? No need to wait for Scarlet. Very nice gear
is being dumped for a pittance these days. Even though I believe that 16mm
is still a very viable capture medium, even from a budget standpoint.
Colcam's points are still true. I hear so much about the digital post costs
that people seem to forget about... until they have to pay for them. I'm
sure its maturing, but moving and processing all that data is still not
free.
There is so much excitement about digital capture and the idea that once you
turn the camera on you're shooting for "free". I don't think that's going to
change. It is an ingrained mindset with most film students these days, and
many "film" programs don't have any film in them. The Advanced
Cinematography instructor at the Cinema program at LACC told me a year ago
they were done with film and would only teach digital (and this in a town
with more film use than anywhere else i can think of). That was a response
to lack of interest in actual film from the students.
