[Konvas] foton zoom ....

Sometimes simple things are simple things, sometimes they turn into nightmares.

I have a Sigma still camera zoom with some "fog" in an inner element group-- between lens elements, but in a sealed group that even Sigma will not take apart and cannot replace because that model was discontinued and replaced by another model several years ago.

There is no way to drill ventilation ports, and getting the moisture out has turned out to be several failed attempts proving that sometimes things aren't going to work out, no matter what-- but I also had a Sigma Macrographic Master 3x-24x macro lens that had "major issues" that were resolved in a two hour tear down and wipe it clean, relube, and put it back together job, too-- after every tech and even Sigma service said "no way."

You're going at it the wise way. Sometimes things are just not what they seem.

As for questions about medium format cameras-- what kind, for what use?

It's PL only now.

Well it has some kind of "fluid" in, it looks as it would be "damp" inside,
with dots, so it's maybe even fungus?? Probably fungus, but I heard that
maybe the lens is not repairable with fungus? That's why I don't want to
sell it for too much money, but maybe trading it for something. We have a
BNCR mount and use it so maybe you have an interesting lens in BNCR mount??
or some old medium format camera you don't want anymore?? :)

cheers
