[Konvas] HD Commercials

I hope the group will forgive a little bit of braggadocio, but we are  
proud of this... and although it is not film (sadly, video), it IS commicam  
related as we did use some Russian lenses on a couple of shots...
 
Our company has just completed our very first television commercials that  
are airing in our market in high definition.  It's a first for this area,  
no local commercials have ever aired in HD before here.... all the TV 
stations  here have been HD for quite a while... but basically just passing on the 
network  signals, and none have ever aired any local-originated HD.
 
Probably not a big deal to some of you in bigger cities, but here in the  
sticks it is.

The slightly-funny thing is, on the spot's very FIRST airing today, it came 
 right after a national Burger King commercial.  The legendary voice guy  
Peter Thomas (who's just great) did the narration on the BK spot... and  
unfortunately Peter did the voice-over on OUR commercial as well.  Back to  
back... grrrr.
 
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming....
