Chiming in on speed-- you not only need to balance the mirror-- the little lead counterweight may have some white flaking that reduces the weight-- but you need to balance the magazine and lube and smooth out the mechanicals there. The small mags are easier to work out than the big ones, and the lack of a pin registry is not the problem, the problem is that the linkage between the body and magazine, the internal magazine mechanicals, 38 fps was the most I could get to really run smoothly.
The Temp is good for sphericals,, or you can buy an early Arri 35BL for this use. It is easy to hard front to oct19, and goes to 96 fps smoothly-- usually called 100fps-- and they are available cheap in the early blimped design, not so cheap hardfronted to PL.
The K-3 is a piece of junk and does not go to higher speeds.

I don't want to swear to it, but I think anymore than about 40fps will not be good. The 1M/2M design just isn't ideal for high speeds, especially with the rotating mirror.
The TEMP SKL was made for higher speed work - and may work a lot better than the Konvas.
If you really need the higher frame rates, but don't have a lot of extra cash to plop down on a TEMP SKL, then look into cheating on your Konvas with 16mm and using something like a Filmo, which does up to 64fps, and modifying it for Super16 (or Ultra16) for better blowing up to 35mm.
I can't remember what frame rate you can get the Krasnogorsk up to, but you may want to look into that as well...
Cheers,
Adam Frey
