[Konvas] color correction in post (was: first test time lapse ... with 7D)

It's a little off-topic (ie, not Konvas related), but was sent a link to 
another Timelapse that I thought I'd share:

Apparently it was shot in Tokyo with both Canon 350D and 5D DSLRs and 
processed with Lightroom for the raw files color adjustment and resizing 
(you can visit the shooter's youtube page for more info).

But this leads me to talk about post production choices of not only 
Timelapse, but all film/video related shots. For instance, I've never 
tried it, but are we be able to do proper Color Adjustment of our films 
with Adobe Lightroom vs using Apple's Color, Combustion, or After 
Effects? What color correction tools are you using?
