One of the "quiet revolutions" being made is the way color is handled-- it was "amount based RGB" with about 4000 colors-- it is going to indexed CMYK with over sixteen million colors. Everyone is switching over as the products are revised, and most even use an RGB layout but work in CMYK, so this week's answers don't really fit next month's questions. The new standards for 4k projection led to new standards for capture file information, and that led to revised projection, which led to-- and so on.

Be prepared to find that everything you thought you knew no longer fits.

It's a little off-topic (ie, not Konvas related), but was sent a link to another Timelapse that I thought I'd share:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Sj-2LnG5Xk

Apparently it was shot in Tokyo with both Canon 350D and 5D DSLRs and processed with Lightroom for the raw files color adjustment and resizing (you can visit the shooter's youtube page for more info).

But this leads me to talk about post production choices of not only Timelapse, but all film/video related shots. For instance, I've never tried it, but are we be able to do proper Color Adjustment of our films with Adobe Lightroom vs using Apple's Color, Combustion, or After Effects? What color correction tools are you using?

Cheers,
