 The aerodynamics of the stingray were interesting--  you could be going straight and a gust at a shallow angle to your path could cause it to become airborne, but proving that took three engineers, two years, and a wind tunnel test with a full size car to prove it.  Add to that a strange balance that worked great for everything except braking while making a hard left turn and it was great 99.99% of the time.  Actually, it was a better road car than either of the three I had over that time period, but I know a dozen people who had a stingray then and only one talks about it.  The others will admit to having it, but change the subject to something else.
